When Margaret Palmer co-founded TPS WeldTech in 1971, she was often the only woman in rooms full of male suppliers, colleagues and clients.
In 2026, Margaret’s impact continues as a guiding presence on the board, while her drive is carried on by her daughter-in-law, Christina Palmer, our General Manager, as well as the women working at TPS today; Mairi Leiper our Depot Manager, Mayanne Dunlop, our Digital Project Lead, as well as Leyan, Siannon & Laura Campbell bringing their expertise and innovative ideas to an industry still striving for gender balance.
